Micah Lipsmeyer is an incredible teacher.  Not only does he excel at playing the guitar, but he effortlessly trains the mind and body to play guitar by providing priceless tips, from how to hold your pick, to proper finger placement for chords, to strumming and picking techniques.  His lessons are challenging but not insurmountable and he focuses on making the process of learning guitar fun and exciting.

My 14 year old son had a immediate connection with Micah when he began lessons. He’s always been eager to attend his lessons, as well. Micah keeps the lessons fun and centers them around the type of music to which my son listens.  Micah is organized and dependable. We’ve recommended him to friends of various ages.

All you need is a little guidance from someone who will:

Help you set musical goals

Design the plan to reach those goals

Solve your guitar playing frustrations

Walk with you on the path to make sure you make it there

I spend the time to help you figure out what your goals are, and then design an effective plan for you to get from where you are, to where you would like to be. I've been where you are and know how to get you past your current struggles.  I use a “Geometrical Growth Method", as used by world renowned guitar virtuoso and teacher, Tom Hess. This method is individualized for each student and has been used to help thousands of guitar students worldwide reach incredible levels. It is proven to be more effective than every other traditional “old style” teaching method. My primary goal for you is to build a broad foundation from the ground up, developing many skills at the same time, and thus molding you into a well rounded player.
